Compared to gripping pads of the same configuration, the combination of 'high energy' magnets and the 'sandwich' type magnetic system gives them a considerably increased holding force. Comparing the grip pads of size ø 16 x 20 mm, the type G05 has a holding force of 18 N (1.8 kp) while that of the GD05 delta type holding pad is 125 N (12.5 kp). At equal size, this represents an increase of nearly 700%. The Delta magnet grip pads are absolutely insensitive to demagnetization and retain their holding power indefinitely.
